  1. Cut squash in half lengthwise, remove seeds. Bake cut side down in shallow pan at 350 degrees for 45 min or possibly till tender. Fry bacon, add in beef, onion, 1/2 tsp. salt, dash of pepper. Cook till meat is browned. Pour off excess fat. Remove squash from shells. Set shells aside. In small mixing bowl, whip squash with 1/2 tsp. salt, adding lowfat milk as needed to make mix fluffy. Combine with meat mix and return to squash shells. Top with crushed potato chips. Continue baking at 350 degrees for 15 min. Serves 4.
