  • 2 lb pork filets or possibly chops
  • 1 c. minced apple
  • 1 c. minced dry apricot
  • 1/2 c. fresh or possibly dry cranberries (optional)
  • 1 med onion minced
  • 2 x celery ribs sliced in 1/2" pcs
  • 1/2 c. apple juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry or possibly wine (or possibly more apple juice) Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with
  • 2 Tbsp. cool water

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients; cover and cook 7 to 9 hrs on LOW.
  2. A half hour before serving, pour liquid into a separate container to skim off excess fat. Stir in cornstarch mix and return broth to crockpot. Continue cooking on LOW till smooth and thickened.
  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
